COSO 2013 Readiness
Trust Elevate with your COSO 2013 Readiness
The 2013 COSO Internal Control-Integrated Framework retains the five components of internal control (i.e., control environment, risk assessment, information and communication, control activities, and monitoring activities) included in the original 1992 Framework; however, it adds 17 principles associated with these five components that are necessary for effective internal control.
You have until December 15, 2014 to adopt this new framework.
You are encourage to adopt this new framework as soon as possible as it succeeds the old version on December 15, 2014. The new framework takes into account changes in business and operating environments over the last 20 years.
Elevate will assist you in transitioning to the new framework
We will conduct a preliminary assessment including a review of current controls documentation and identifying gaps in the documentation as well as an inventory of the 17 principles in the new framework.
